Don't know much about "phishing" but am asking because I'm a cautious soul.

I didn't get one.

This board doesn't use Lefora, AFAIK. It uses a Joomla plug-in called Kunena.

Yes, it is. Woo, hooo! Shall we move back?

I checked it out a bit and it is much cleaner, but too little too late, IMO.

You can't really ever unsignup for things, can you? The internet is like a Hotel California. I remember once calling about some weird charges on my credit card or bank account, and it was related to some internet community I'd belonged to eight years before. Not only did I no longer use that email address, I had completely forgotten I'd ever been a member.

I went back there just now, logged in as an admin and deleted all the old content(we moved it all here, anyway) and all the user accounts. I doubt we'll be receiving any more spam from LeFora. We're stuck here, where we migrated together and with control over our own destiny.

This board used to live on LeFora, Derek. Tom Otvos, also a member there, helped us move it here last year. We wanted to move to a place where we owned the means of production. We wanted to avoid the fate that befell Kenneth Folk Dharma on the Wetpaint system, also a free message board.
