Re: that kind of doubt - well, it's a bit like someone trying to convince you that lemons taste sour, but you've never tasted a lemon. You can believe them or not believe them, but you cannot experience the sourness of a lemon until you've put it in your mouth. Once you actually taste one, you pucker up and say "Wow, yes, that is indeed sour."
The analogy is a bit lame, but that's what I mean by "experientially obvious".

@Ona: My question was more directed at the notion that the true nature of reality is experientially obvious and inquiring how that cannot be doubted. ... However, I received some very helpful counsel from a psychic last April who told me I need to ...just pick the 1 or 2 practices that my heart tells me I should do. So I just follow my intuition on that one now and try my best to trust it. ...
