Thank You Button!

How does it feel without it? Do you miss it? Is it better without it?
All opinions welcome!
Thank you!

However it also used to function to say "hey, I read that" even when I didn't really have anything to say, and that part doesn't really happen anymore. I used to value this feature as a writer, for assuring me that someone or other was bothering to read what I post. However, I don't think either of these reasons are particularly important reasons for possibly re-including it. I think the benefit of point #1 outweighs these second reasons.
What's everyone else thinking?

For example, I really enjoy Ona's travelogue, history, Christian spirituality and other articles arriving for free all the time but rarely have a value-added comment.

He's teasing me because I said I like the feedback of knowing someone read my posts, even though I don't otherwise think the Thank You button is worth having. So he suggested (joking) to just put it on my thread.
