mobile version? was created by Ona Kiser
I recall in the very first weeks of this new site I was able to view it on my iPhone, albeit with a slightly clunky interface that didn't fit the screen when I chose "mobile version". I switched back to the browser version, as it was easier to navigate.

However in recent weeks when I enter this URL on my iPhone I simply get nothing - a blank white page. No error message or anything.

Is there anything to be done about a mobile site? I am often traveling and it's handy to check in that way. Or I can just not visit on days when I don't have my laptop.

Hrmm the mobile version is still working for me on my iPhone. Although it cuts off the text a bit unless you turn your device and view it in landscape mode. Maybe try clearing you cache on your phone?

You know, I'm rather horrified that it never occurred to me to clear the browser cache on my phone. Doh. Sorry for the stupid question. Yes, that worked.

Sigh.

I've only been using computers since 1984. You'd think I'd figure some basic stuff out. :P

Now, there is an option for me to skin this differently for mobile devices...removing a lot of chrome. But I have found this less than useful as opposed to just using the native zooming on the phone to see the site in all its glory.

Opinions? Preferences?

The mobile version is fairly minimalist, it just doesn't scale itself to the various screen sizes. But it'll do.
