Survey on subscriptions was created by Tom Otvos

I would like to poll the users here on the "subscription" feature of the forum. It seems to be working in some cases, and not others. So I would like to get a more complete sense of whether you use subscriptions to topics and, if so, do you actually receive notifications of new posts to those topics.

I subscribed to the topic "New Kenneth Folk Interview on Batgap" and got an email when another post was made. But, I don't receive emails for my practice thread. So, a mix of "Tried, but no emails" and "Works great!"
