The Sudden School is still just a rough sketch. As you can see my teaching is still a bit shallow, the nice thing about the blog site medium is that I can edit and change the text at anytime. I wanted to explore a certain feeling that you get from hikidashi setoguro and kamogawaishi raku pottery, as well as from calligraphy. Since I am a printer my whole life on the printing presses has been spent playing with black ink on white, as well as the color, I felt a certain resonance with this look.
