Survey for KFDharma retreat planning! was created by kennethfolk
Hi Everyone!
I'm planning to lead a series of silent meditation retreats, beginning as early as this summer or fall, in which I will introduce the 3 Speed Transmission and show how it can lead to enlightenment. Below is the link to a short survey that will help us plan meditation retreats in the U.S.A. Would you be so kind as to take a minute to respond to it? It's just for planning purposes, so there is no commitment, and you can choose to include your name or to remain anonymous. Just cut and paste the address below into your web browser's address window and press "Enter." Thanks, and I hope to see you on retreat!

I'm just replying to this post to get it back to the top of the stack so everyone can see it. Thanks in advance for taking the survey!

Hi Kenneth,
The first question says if you intend to take a retreat, and the answer is no, as I am not residing in the States. Then I automatically get cut off. Does that mean that this survey is only for forum members who are residing in the States?
With metta
Upekha.

I'm in a similar situation - I've been much appreciating your approach and writings (and the discussion here, which I haven't participated in so far) and in principle would love to do a retreat with you. I do come to the States occasionally so it's not completely out of the question, but my question would be - what chance of you running a retreat in Europe (particularly the UK as that's where I live) some time?

Hi Kenneth,
Ever consider a tour of Latin America? Maybe after a few years of retreats in the states you could branch out. You speak enough Spanish I reckon to guide people. There are small pockets of people who are interested in the Dharma here and a visit by an arahat would increase the dharma vibes!!!!!
Also, will you be getting your future book translated? I feel like here in Chile it is so hard to convey things found on Daniel's book and other good dharma sources because of the lack of translations. Latin America needs to wake up too!!!!!!!!....and not by just earthquakes and aftershocks.

Thanks, Upekha, Jowate, and Nick for pointing out this flaw in the survey. Your input will help us in designing future surveys. At the moment, we're just planning retreats in the US, for practical reasons (I live in the US, so it makes sense for the first retreats to be here.) Later, we'll see about "taking the show on the road" if there are enough students in other countries around the world.
Thanks to everyone who has already responded. If you haven't responded yet, please do! We need your input.
Kenneth

Is the Southeast a no-go? Didn't see the Southeast on the region pull-down.
