It should be near the bottom of this page.
This talk is pretty typical of his style and message. Just wonderful stories, humor. Sweet and inspirational.
What is he teaching? it's Buddhism, basically, right? Not exactly how to be liberated or enlightened, but how to use "mindfulness" as a way to steadily open up and become a more generous, playful, alive person. Part of me just loves it and part of me is slightly (note I said slightly) annoyed by it.
My guess is that this inspirational sort of talk is what he does for the general public and in retreats and one-on-one relationships with students he probably teaches developmental insight (four path model). Maybe Vince knows if I am right about that or not.

I get the sense that Jack Kornfield is a serious heavy-hitter who has just gotten really good at dealing with general audiences. I have a huge amount of gratitude for Jack. His books have been very helpful to me. I haven't listened to this talk yet but will do so tomorrow.

Yeah, me too. I know it sounds melodramatic, but his book A Path With Heart truly saved my sanity at one point a few years back.

Its not melodramatic at all Ryan. A Path With Heart Game me a glimpse of sanity a few years ago... but I had to keep wallowing in dukka a little longer before the real work was started. Great teacher... I find his style can get a little I dunno almost new agey sounding especially in After Ecstasy... but his message is solid--I have no doubt as to his good intentions
