I'm new here. Where should I begin?

Hello everyone, I've read most everything on this site and I'm wondering where to begin. Is there a glossary of terms some place? I'd like to keep a practice journal, but the lexicon you're using still feels strange to me. I have a strong noting practice. That gives way to visualizations, or, sometimes all sensations drop away and I'm just a nose floating in space and breathing. Is there a term for that? I've read Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha by Daniel Ingram. I know I've moved beyond the Arising and Passing. I've had a dark night, and need to find some support so I can stay the course. Anyone want to jump in and point the way?

If I were in your position I'd make a Skype or a phone call appointment with Kenneth Folk. That way you can validate your own diagnoses of your practice and he can also provide a really solid plan for you as you move forward.
