Nice discussion. After reading it I thought it is well past time that I admit to you, Kenneth that, for the most part, I agree with you much of the time. I recognize we have had a rough time of it ever since, back at DhO 1.0 I took on the onerous role of speaking for the traditional Theravada pov. While some of my experience does line up better with traditional Theravada than some of your experience, I do tend to agree with you about most of your thinking on how things can be more reasonably approached in a 21st century context. That and I agree about staying level, regardless of how stuff arises at any given point. Oh yeah, and I'll stay out of the surreal poetry business so you can stay out of the surreal poetry critic business. : }
