LIST Problem

In the last few days I have been getting "adding a comment" notices from this list lately referring to some thread I was active on. I go to that thread and no comment was added. Examples are below.

"bauseer added a comment to the thread Kindle".
"WSH3 added a comment to the thread fr Jack."
"PEJN added a comment to the thread fr Jack."

What's going on?

I'm getting the same thing for threads from older threads too.

For a long time, I had stopped getting notifications on watched threads.

My best guess is that WetPaint mailer has not been sending these notifications for a while, and they've backed up. Now, someone did something to unstick the mail queue, and it's sending out old notifications.

I don't think that is the problem. The ones I quoted above were from fairly recent threads that did not contain any posts at all from these people at any time.

I have recieved mails about non existing posts to my thread too.

Hi Jack and all,

Wetpaint is an enduring mystery to me. I am grateful when it works properly and try to be patient when it doesn't. It's always a healthy mix of the two.
