Inspiring! Thanks for sharing. My narrative was in serious need of suspension when I came across this...
BTW, will these talks be happening last-half July, first-half August? I will be in the US at that time and would like to try to catch one live...

Let me know exactly when you'll be in town, D, and we'll set one up for sure. At this point, the schedule for July and August is not set.
Thanks for the support and encouragement, Jgroove!

That mention of "experiential focus" vs "naritive focus" is a really interesting way to look at things. It seems like the noting feedback loop the kenneth often says is so valuable is taylor-made to minimize narrative focus and maximixe experiencial focus.
It almost seems like the same way you can note "positive" "negitive" "neutral" to any sensation you could also note any sensation "experencial" or "narrative"

How do these to practices relate? Do they support and feed each other, or are they best done independently? Are these the different gears?
I listened to the talk and am just looking for more info, feel free to point to an article. I'm curious, because lately it seems like they are developing independently of each other in my practice. Initially it was all development, now it feels like its all realization that is at the forefront of my experience.

Hi Rev,
Here is an excerpt from my Mahamudra and the Ships in the Harbor talk, kindly transcribed by AnEternalNow and posted on his website:
"Now from this point of view, this point of view of momentary stillness, we haven't even created time yet. So any idea that there could be some development through time to enlightenment is a non-issue. There's this moment of stillness, and this moment of stillness. And if you're going to be what I call a ruthless non-dualist, you would insist that there is no time and you wouldn't be willing to consider the possibility of the question of development."
"But development is also a legitimate point of view. We do live in the world of time and we can see that we're a little more enlightened today than when we were yesterday. And presumably, we'll be more enlightened tomorrow. So how do we reconcile this momentary awakeness with development? Let's go ahead and posit time and talk about this other perspective because we're going to triangulate. We're looking at this from various perspectives..."
