is the witness the same as dwelling in awareness itself, looking at what is looking, staying with the one who knows? is it correct to view these as synonymous?
I (this is conventional "I" here on out) can stay in this awareness for a long time. thinking maybe reached third jhana. I live at a Buddhist monastery so there is a lot of time to just go all out
using the witness or awareness itself for dynamic jhana, one just surrenders to the process, or, the infinite unfolding of now? Something recently has switched. I have the utmost joy dwelling in this state and burst out in joyous laughter at times. so long I've been slave to this illusion of self and other (dualism) and the utter simplicity, immediacy, intimacy of this peace causes me to burst out in joyous laughter.
