Pragmatic dharma workshop this Saturday, Sept 3rd!

Hi Everybody,

I'm very pleased to announce the first of an ongoing series of virtual pragmatic dharma workshops. On the 1st weekend of each month, I'm going to co-lead a workshop with Vincent Horn of Buddhist Geeks. In this first installment, we're going to teach 4 Foundations of Mindfulness noting with a partner and Mahamudra noting. We'll present the techniques along with a little bit of theory, then break off into pairs for noting, then get back together as a group for some questions and discussion, and then probably do it all again. It should be a great time and another step in building online sangha in addition to sharing some of the most powerful tools I know of for deepening practice. Great workshop. Sorry I showed up late. I actually thought it was supposed to all happen on the conference website. Then I figured out that I should call the number with my actual phone.

This worked out well in my opinion. I noted one on one with several different people. I think most of them were very new to noting and practicing with them really helped me to re-learn my own technique a bit. Can't wait for mahamudra noting next time!
