After reading Daniels book and being on this site for while, one of the ideas I have come across, is that most folks on the road to waking up to their true nature, pass through roughly the same stages. You might get few discrepancies, but the similarities are sufficient to make up a map and also provide some instructions how to progress up the ladder.

Well just looking online and finding a few blogs and websites, it seems that awakening is all over the place. In many cases there isn't even much talk about meditation, or even any do'er ship at all. Or maybe even x amount of effort that eventually runs out of steam, followed by surrender, followed by AHA.

Im talking about the Non-duality, Advaita teachers and wow, there are loads of them!

this is an example.....scroll down the left hand side and have a look!

I know Kenneth says that mastering all the states and stages, doesnt really have anything to do with awakening, but makes it more likely..........but maybe this point isnt stressed enough. All were really doing is exhausting the sense of do'er ship..........until we just give it up.
