London, UK pragmatic Dharma meet up

Hello all, I'm Liam - I post on the Dharma Overground. I'd like to quickly thank Kenneth and all the posters here for their practice advice and sharing of their experiences; I've been doing a lot of lurking here. KFD is an excellent source of guidance, especially for a pre-Stream Entrant like me.

Anyways, there has been some interest on the DhO about an informal meetup in London soon for pragmatic dharma types, or anyone who's interested in practicing with that kind of 'whatever works' approach. I thought I'd extend the invitation to KFDers too. I hope this doesn't seem like an impolite cross-post- it's more a case of 'the more the merrier'.

I'm based in Leicester, mostly lurking in KFD. Interested in this idea (though at current rail prices, a trip to London is a tough choice, even if it only takes 1.25 hrs) -- so will be interested to know if others join in and set something up!

Various people from KFD and DhO have expressed an interest, so the date is provisionally Saturday 15th October. I'm waiting for people to express their preferences as to when, where and what, though my idea is to meet in the early afternoon, somewhere central, in a place like Vantra (Soho veggie/smoothie place). All welcome, bring your friends.

Very sorry for the tardy reply. I'm very keen indeed to meet up, but Saturday 15 October is a no go for me.

Friday 21, Saturday 22 or Sunday 23 would be perfect if we could wait until then.
