Random Four Foundation Prompter was created by omnipleasant
As I mentioned yesterday at the weekly Google hangout ( kennethfolkdharma.wetpaint.com/thread/46...fset=0&maxResults=20 ) :

Duncan, one of my regular ping pong meditation partners on Skype, has programmed this script:
is.gd/rPR3hf (edit: fixed link!) . It's a prototype of an application he is working on.

The idea: every few seconds a voice speaks a number (1,2,3 or 4) and the meditator notes a sensation in the accompanying foundation of mindfulness (see the four points of Kenneth's "1st gear" practice at the homepage of this forum).

I've meditated with this tool for an hour each day for the past week and I'm really enthusiastic about it. It's like very engaging ping pong meditation with the increased challenge of matching the right foundation of mindfulness. It keeps me on my toes like nothing else. I hope it can be of benefit to others as well. If you're interested: please download, read the installation instructions and report your experiences with it.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: the tool will probably work on Windows only as it's delivered here. But there might be ways to get it going on Macs as well?

Sounds awesome. I will definitely be trying it out. It might be good to be shaken out of any habitual noting patterns one might have.
