Anyone willing to teach or suggest a Sangha in NYC?

I have been practicing for quite a while without a teacher or Sangha that could offer me guidance and all my learning has only been based off the internet. I think I am ready to take a step forward and join a community and have a teacher. I am in Brooklyn so I know that I have a lot of options (based off what I see in a google search). However, I would like to inquire here since I trust that the people on this forum can guide me towards a good place (and could help me avoid the mushroom culture I've read about in MCTB). The IDProject in NY looks like it's pretty pragmatic dharma oriented. Has anyone been there? theidproject.org/offer/learn

The IDProject is coordinated by Buddhist teacher Ethan Nichtern, who I met in person and heard speak at Buddhist Geeks last summer in LA. I was very impressed. If you can visit that group in person you really should.

Looks like I've got enough interest in NY so I'm going to try and get the class started. I'll post more in this thread when I get a schedule set.
