Is rigpa just the fact that sensations are known?
There is no knowing mind, only what is known.
Marigpa (aka. delusion?) is the mind bending over backwards to see itself as other than / separate from itself.
Awareness and what's in awareness (i.e. sensations) are the same. Awareness as such is an extraneous concept.
Now all that needs doing is to stay in that space where this is self-evident. Ammirite?

I think so. But how do you stay there? It can't be done by an act of the will.

I don't know how to get there, and never will.
I don't know how to stay there, unless I know I'm already there, which is always the case, but not always known.
I don't know how much of the above is genuinely my own understanding and how much of it is just re-phrasing of what I have read. I say this not because I don't feel it's genuinely my own understanding, but because it sounds so much like what I've read.
