Recording a ping pong session was created by Jackha
I want to record a ping pong session with my Skype partner for a demonstration. So far I am able to record his voice or my voice but not both together. Any ideas on being able to record both at the same time? I use Audacity to record.

Are you running a mac or a pc? On a mac, use ecamm call recorder:
www.ecamm.com/mac/callrecorder/
And be sure to play it back in Quicktime. Otherwise, you'll only hear one side of the conversation.
Don't know what to use on a pc.

Nah.Too much like joining a club.. I did find a free program for a pc at
voipcallrecording.com/
. I'm waiting for my pingpong partner so I can try it out this morning. This Sunday night I run a meditation class. Among the participants are experienced meditators who have done IMS style vipassana (no noting) for years. I have partially explained detailed noting to some of them before and they looked at me as if I were nuts. I felt the same way when I first was exposed to it.
This meeting I will cover 4 Foundations detailed noting. The meeting after that I will cover IMS style non-noting vipassana. Here are some of the points I plan to make to distinguish the two. Detailed noting: Better disembeding. Subject/object is clear. No room for chatter. Crowds out a sense of self. This keeps you solidly in vipassna for however long you want. Has flexibility to go to non-noting after starting by noting.

I've actually used TechSmith's Camtasia Studio to do just this. There's a 30-Day evaluation version at www.techsmith.com/download/camtasia/default.asp
Record the Skype session with the "Record The Screen" button, and then just produce out the audio portion of it.
After you save the recording, you do this by choosing Produce and Share, Custom Production Settings. Then, just pick MP3 - Audio Only.
I can help if you like, or you can call TechSupport - they're happy to to assist eval users.
