hi guys,this is my first ever post in this website ,i am from india,and i follow vedic tradition (advaita) .I dont see much difference between both ,following practice sessions explained by kenneth ,and i am deeply influenced by daniel's mastering the core teachings" .So i am doing noting practice as far as i can in my daily life,and doing concentration practice where breath as my object during particular times,recently on formal sitting i am doing 1/3 concentraton and noting in the rest of formal sitting.
As soon as i start doing concentration,an unknown happiness coming from no where ,and i am feeling a good tension (not sure about the correct english word) between eyebrows,and after some time,i am feeling a real coolness in my breath starting from abdomen to my neck

thank you,its been my 3rd week or 1 month since i started practice according to what describes here,before that i was doing a lot of different meditations ,pranayamas ,and was not consistent with anything .But now i feel like i am pretty much stable and confident that i can achieve the BIg E
,and i pray to the divinity inside me ,you and all to guide me along this path

Thanks Andy,its almost 6 months after my last post here . i feel like i am cycling through all the nanas ,mostly clinging with dukka nanas ,What i feel was the significant change since this time is ,i can do a formal sitting for long hours ,previously even after 30 minutes of sitting ,my mind starts to say,ok baby game over ,and get lost .But now he is very kind ,less wandering .
I feel like my practice is a merged version of smatha and vipasana ,or something else ,please advise me on this
I start sitting by concentrating in the fall and rise of my abdomen ,clinging to that,and then the concentration will shift to the body /mind experience
It is like i am a watcher who see things like ,i have a body,i have a mind ,i am hearing sounds.And what happens is my concentration object is that witness
Of course there is a distraction ,but i would say its 10% distraction and 90% concentration on a whole,at times i will get afraid as if i am loosing my identity , i am going die kind of thing,and i open my eyes to overcome it etc
Now i have a clear understanding that ,my body is just a vehicle ,it came from the nature ,and it finally goes to the same .But at the same time once in a while every week ,i have this tendency to magnify my body sensations for example
If i have a head ache ,i started to think like i have cancer inside my brain,and will start developing thoughts on that ,but its just a sinus infection
Now if i have a pain on the heart ,i think like i am going to have heart attack soon ,and i was happy i got the same pain on the right side of the chest,so its not heart lol
So what i am trying to say is that ,i go through high equanimity stage for continuous days ,and drifted in cheap body awareness ,if you guys can ask me some questions,that will help me to give specific experiences ,thanks
