Hi folks,
I was just reading through Mahasi Sayadaw's Progress of Insight, and was thinking about the passing of discrete thought/experiences. Then I started comparing that with various computer models.
For the tech-savvy among us, which of the following PC architectures (or another option?) do you think most closely approximates the functioning of the human mind:
- Single processor
- Single processor, with a few co-processors (eg. '“ graphics, math, etc.)
- Multiple processors of equal ability
- X processors, but with a multi-threaded operating system
- X processors, running several virtual machines
Have a great weekend,
P
