Bifurcation - there are various ways to approach things post-awakening:
- Stop. You're done. Go forth and prosper. Teach what you know works. It worked for you. It is the The Way.
- Keep going. There are further layers of ignorance to penetrate. There may not ever be a thing called "done."
- It's impossible to figure this out. I'm just one tiny mind. I just don't know. I'm going with that.
And so on.
Make sense?

Also, awakening is not a destination, but a continuing process. Who knows what this conversation would be like in 10 years or if it would even occur.

Another important bifurcation:
- I can turn this off. I can shut it down. And it will go away, forever. I must practice to make that happen.
- I can't control what happens, even in the mind. Experience appears to be involuntary to a great extent. I must practice to accommodate whatever happens.

LOL reminds me of one of the more cynical passages from Jed McKenna:
